The lessons in this study guide are written to help you think about some of the applications of the chapters you study for Bible Bowl. This is not an exegetical study. Not every verse, nor every story is referenced. There is, however, a lesson from each chapter
The devotional guide has four components for each chapter and special study.
Lesson– a description and narrative of part of the chapter.
Thought Questions– questions that ask the student to think through the chapter and the application of it.
Take it to the Next Level– this includes some ideas and prompts to challenge the student to go beyond the reading.
Prayer– each lesson has a prayer focus.
The lessons are written in such a way that an individual can use them, or they can be done in a group or as a team.
